Well, it’s time for New Year’s resolutions for some but for me I am going to share my New Year’s Golf-olutions for what they’re worth. Grab a glass of good cheer and have a look.
PERSONAL GOLF:
1. Play more golf than in 2008
2. Take a lesson or two to get the ‘kinks’ out
3. Get ‘custom-fit’ for clubs
4. Replace old clubs
5. Look at purchasing a SkyCaddie – not sure if this will fly or not???
6. Join a league
7. Play at least one time per week
8. Find more events to play
9. Get handicap back to single digits
10. Go to golf resort/spa or golf school (e.g.Pineneedles)
11. Play new courses as often as possible
12. Enjoy Life… Enjoy Golf…Welcome the Unknown!!
GOLF BUSINESS:
1. Promote the game of golf at every opportunity, especially to women
2. Help others find their ‘inner-golfer’ or ‘outer golfer’, whatever that means!
3. Work with local organizations such as, First Tee, to help take golf to those who would otherwise not have access.
4. Make a positive impact on every community I touch
5. Establish The ‘LOTT’ Toolbar with charitable connections
6. Build social media connections and skills
7. Continually build and grow the Ladies on the Tee Golf Blog
8. Open the ‘Golf Network for Women’ resource site
9. Set up speaking engagements and clinics to women’s groups focusing on networking with golf, learning the basics and having fun!
10. Network, Network, Network!!
Happy New year to each and every one of you. Thanks for visiting Ladies on the Tee Golf Blog at www.sherrytabb.com and making our golf community that much better!

I’m working on mastering (okay, learning the basics) of tennis, right now, but I think it’d be fun to give golf a try. We have a putting (driving? is that the term?) range associated with our gym, so it’d certainly be convenient.
This looks like a great resource for golfers!

Lindsay,
If you like tennis I really think golf will be fun for you. I played tennis from the age of 9 until just 3 years ago. In fact, I made my living as a tennis pro for 13 years. The thing about both of these sports is that you take the time to get some basic instruction. Using the driving range and practice greens will be the best place to start. The main thing is to have FUN with it!!
Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
