Hey hey!

Another week and I’m still kickin! This week I thought I’d give you a more personal look into my life and talk about the ‘non-golfy’ side of me. Who is Carling Coffing on her off weeks?? (Of course I picked a good week for this because I didn’t play worth a hoo-ey this week! haha) ANYWAY! Last week was a great week off and I finally settled back in my hometown of Middletown, Ohio. My spirits lift right away as I walk through the front door because I am greeted by my four dogs—Arfy, Moose, Cinco, and Pumpky. I always take five minutes to run all over the house in celebration. Most of the time I’m yelling, “The moose is loose!” and “Cinco de puppy!” If any dog owner says they don’t do this, then they are totally lying…

After that task at hand is finished, it’s time to make some 100 calorie-pop popcorn and catch up on the DVR. Even though I go through like five bags of popcorn, the little bags still make it healthy, right? My life is NUTS, I know! Some must-see shows of mine are “America’s Next Top Model, “American Idol”, and everything from the food network, including, “Chopped.” By the way…NO, I cannot cook! Those who cannot do…do not teach…they DVR.

It’s been a tough couple weeks and now it’s time to go comatose…On every “off-week Monday” it’s a special treat for me to go to sleep and NOT set an alarm. (I know, I know, someone call the fun police!) I like to see if I can break old sleeping records. Once in college I went to bed at 11pm and woke up at 4pm the next day! That record may stand for many years… I

Last week I ended up spending three days editing film that I took so I can put together a new video for thegolfchannel.com. I will be vlogging every two tournaments for them. I was hoping this wouldn’t take so long but unfortunately I was unsure of how to go about the process and I ended up filming myself on the course for like ten hours. “Okay…and this is me…again…hitting a chip shot…” More organization next time! Plus…you try putting together a video about yourself without wanting to only put in your “good side”. Picky, picky girl! My dad ended up helping me a ton and we put together something really cute.

Unfortunately, off weeks are crucial to take care of horribly BORING business too. I went to the allergist, dentist, sports doctor (wrist was hurting a little, no big prob though!), ordered sponsor’s hats, updated diabetic supplies, cancelled old mastercard memberships, and paid the bills. UGHH if that doesn’t motivate you to get back on the road I don’t know what will!

By Saturday I FINALLY had a little time to be a real 23 year old girl (doesn’t happen often!). So I went out on the town with my brother, Tom and our cousins, Spencer and Savanah. We are all between 21 and 25, so we have a blasty blast together! We went to downtown Cincinnati to check out the night scene, and it was fun! Almost as much fun as popcorn and zzz’s! After traveling with the same 144 girls from week to week, it’s crazy to see guys again! There were some cute ones out that night, but after a few goofy dances I failed to find the man of my dreams. Hey, I totally rocked those golfer tan lines though!

The next morning my parents and I drove 15 hours to Lafayette, Louisiana…what a week!

Now it’s back to business! In bed by 10 and up with the chickens! Eight hours of golf and don’t forget about those workouts! I can’t wait to start up again because I’m just dying for my game to fall into place at just the right time. Wish me luck!!

Carling
